We are a small firm, so you grow as fast as your abilities allow you to move up. Mostly, a willingness to learn and grow in your profession will ensure success. The ideal candidate should be able to perform the following tasks:
- Review site plans against land use codes
- Prepare narratives and arguments for entitlement approvals including site plans, Planned Unit developments, Zoning and Annexations
- Review plans for local governments to ensure compliance with land use codes and standards
- Prepare plan review reports and presentations
- Present findings to city or county staff
Education or experience: A degree in community and regional planning, landscape architecture or architecture is preferred. However, experience as a planner will be just as valuable.
Salary Range: This position would be a planner but it would be classified as a designer. We have 4 designer positions (Designer 1-4) The salary range is $50,000.00-$55,000.00. Salary and position will be dependent on experience.
